Eva is a seasoned financial services executive with over 25 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, risk and control management and operations & technology. Eva is uniquely qualified to help FinTechs prepare for bank risk based procurement processes and navigate the changing Fintech regulatory landscape.

As a Managing Director at Citigroup, Eva has experience managing large scale global risk and control programs and notably managing Third Party Vendor Risk Management.

Eva has been assisting FinTechs, for over 3 years, to establish risk and compliance structures that are right sized for them.  She also served as Chief Risk Officer for a FinTech with an international banking license.

Dana is an accomplished leader with experience shepherding organizations through big challenges, building diverse teams and complex systems, fostering rapid iteration while ensuring Security, Risk and Privacy meets business objectives, is cost efficient and most importantly, forefront and innovative.

 

Dana was the Head of Security and Risk, and participated in the Office of the CTO, for Thesys Technologies, LLC, a leading capital markets provider where he was accountable for global Cybersecurity, Risk, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Programs.

 

Before joining Thesys, Dana was a thought leader at Microsoft in the Privacy and Security space for Devices, Analog, Differential Privacy and Microsoft Health platforms. Highlights include GDPR, HoloLens, Windows Holographic, Xbox, Cortana, Microsoft Band, Microsoft Health, Microsoft Health Vault and Genomics businesses.

 

Prior to Microsoft, Dana has held various senior level Security and Risk roles within the finance and banking space including Senior Vice President, Global Equities at Citi and Vice President at Washington Mutual.

Mary has over 4 years of experience as a consultant working with financial services and insurance clients. Prior to FinTech BRCG, Mary was a strategy and technology implementation consultant at IBM working with technologies, including Blockchain, SAP, and an industry platform.

Mary graduated with a BA in Economics from Barnard College.

Ed Watson is currently a Limited Partner and Advisor at NYCA Partners as well as an adjunct professor of accounting & finance at New York University. He also proudly serves on the Board of Directors at Odyssey House

With over 30 years of financial services experience, He has held numerous executive level positions in the United States and Europe, managing multiple disciplines, and holding positions including CFO, Treasurer, Head of Operations, Technology and General Services at firms including Citigroup and Fannie Mae.

Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John’s University and an MBA from Hofstra University.  He has been named as one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders, received the Hofstra University Alumni Achievement Award and most recently received the Mercy College Ann Grow Friend of Athletes Award.

Jeffrey Reitman is a Principal at Nyca Partners, a fintech focused venture capital firm. At Nyca, Jeffrey primarily spends his time working on investments in the Alternative Credit, Digital Advice and Financial Infrastructure sectors and has worked on many investments such as Acorns, Built, Blend Labs, LeapYear, Nova, Scratch, and Zero Financial. Prior to joining Nyca, Jeffrey worked in J.P. Morgan’s Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group, focusing on the Specialty Finance sector. In his previous role, Jeffrey worked on transformative transactions such as Navient’s $7.3bn spin-off from Sallie Mae and Synchrony Financial’s $2.9bn IPO. Before J.P. Morgan, Jeffrey was a Co-founder, Board Member, and the Chief Technology Officer of GXStudios, Inc., a media and entertainment company responsible for creating massively multiplayer web-based games. Jeffrey received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his BA from Yale University.

Ray Vazquez is the Founder and President of Vertex11, a consultancy focused client success by providing knowledge, velocity and creativity to solve the complex challenges of operating in the new digital world. Ray has held senior executive roles both in industry and management consulting. His extensive experience includes information technology risk, cybersecurity, privacy, operational risk and financial reporting risk management. Ray has worked and served high profile clients across multiple industries for over 24 years including: financial services, entertainment & media, non-profit, higher education, retail and manufacturing.

Ray’s serves as an advisor to BRCG clients lending expertise and creativity in the areas of Cybersecurity Strategy, Technology Risk Management, Governance, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Software Development Lifecycle and Quality Assurance. Ray also serves as BRCG’s resident expert on NIST, PCI, SANS20, ISO Security Frameworks; COSO Internal Controls & ERM frameworks.

Ray’s work experience includes Executive roles at Fannie Mae, TimeWarner – AOL. Ray began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he served many Fortune 100 clients and their Global Risk Management needs. Ray received a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master in Accounting Information Systems from Florida International University.

Simon Bland was most recently a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co where he built his 14-year career in the Private Bank. Simon was responsible for relationship management and was co-Chairman of the Global Wealth Management Technology and Innovation Council. In this position, Simon played an integral role in advancing and advocating various client-facing and internal technology applications. Simon also served on the steering and advisory committees for a number of internal projects and provided client-side insights for large scale business programs. In addition, Simon was the firm-wide executive sponsor for his alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from the Wharton School in 2004. In 2016, Simon was named a Presidential Leadership Scholar, a partnership between the Presidential Centers of George W. Bush, William J. Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Lyndon B. Johnson. Simon is currently advising the Aurum Institute on their US expansion efforts – a prominent non-profit that is leading the response, research, and treatment efforts of eradicating tuberculosis and HIV, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. He lives in New York City and is a member of INSA (Intelligence and National Security Alliance) and AFCEA (Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association).
